Either way...I'm pretty excited to watch him make so much progress!!
So my child is 3 weeks and 2 days old.
He watches me walk around the house, and smiles sooo big when I stop and smile or talk to him. It's pretty awesome!
He can sit on my lap and hold his head up for at least a solid minute! That's fun, especially when trying to burp him, or hold him and he's winging his head all around, using me as a rock wall to climb. I decided I should give him some stomach time to see if the neck holding/climbing motion will progress.
It's progressed alright, he schimied and scooted his way accross the floor!! His leg muscles are already defined and he just pushed and pushed to the other side of the blanket! His arms aren't real strong, he tried to lift up and didn't budge, but at least we have the legs and head working!!
This is so exciting!! He's not just a blob, he totally hangs out with me and we are interacting more and more!! I just feel like it's a little early to be movin' everywhere. Man alive, maybe..since he got all his dad's features, he'll get my energy!! I just haven't decided if that's a good thing or not!! ;)
It is so fun when they start to really notice you and the facial expressions start to pour out of them! He is so cute, I need to get my fix and see you this week. Ok I need to see him. They grow up so fast! Enjoy every minute:)♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteI remember Isaac being able to sit on my lap with just a little support when burping when Paige was born, so he was about 6 weeks old. Those leg muscles must be made for soccer! What fun!!! Take some video for sure. I have one from when Isaac was 6 days old and I am so happy that I have it.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness... you are bringing back all them memories from those first couple of months with the munchkin... it was all so crazy and surreal. She was holding her head up from the first couple of days in the hospital, but she didn't start scooching along till after a few months. You really have your work cut out for you!
